NOTE: Pictures were taken during the renovation. PM for more details. A long driveway leads off the main road to this secluded, rural, three bedroom house with in-law apartment. The unique house has modern great room in a hexagon shape. The walls are solid oak board. The slight cathedral ceiling with a light in the center is pine. Its oak-board floors continue throughout the house. The kitchen area is against one wall that has an outdoor exit. The 30-inch wide counter is 14 feet long with a three-bowl sink and stovetop built in. There is a 56 x 36-inch eating bar at one end. An oven is built into the plentiful cupboard area. On the wall opposite the kitchen is a wood burning stove. Off the great room is a shelf-filled study able to have two desks or a desk and a chair; a whatever-you-want-it-to-be work/storage room. A long corridor with a large chalkboard leads to three bedrooms (one with half-bath), a full bath with two sinks, and a laundry/mud room with an outside exit. One bedroom has a drop-down ladder to attic storage. A large outside porch with a view of woodland is a great place for morning coffee and many activities. A garage is available. Currently, the “in-law” apartment is being renovated. It can be two-bedroom or one-bedroom with an extra room. It has a combination living room/kitchen with lots of cupboards, bathroom, and private entrance. The laundry hookup is outside the apartment in the basement.
